Calling startups to the Maple Leaf Digital Lounge at SXSW
CityEvents and Dynamitenetwork.com have joined forces to create the Maple Leaf Digital Lounge during the South by Southwest Interactive Conference (SXSW) in Austin, TX, March 12th and 13th, 2011. The Maple Leaf Digital Lounge aims to promote innovative Canadian companies to the attendees of SXSW Interactive, which has served as the launch venue for Twitter (2007), Foursquare (2009) and many others.
The Maple Leaf Digital Lounge (hashtag #MLDL) invites Canada’s top digital innovators with “commercial ready” technology to apply to present themselves to highly-focused investors at SXSW Interactive. The MLDL defines “commercial ready” as technology that is currently generating revenue or will be within six months. Presenters can have technology in social media, marketing, mobile, multi-media, game development, web development or any related IT areas.
Submission details: Submit a one-page executive summary highlighting the technology or service that your company wants to display at the Maple Leaf Digital Lounge at SXSW. This document should list the principals/management team of the company, the company website and any other related details of the technology. All information should be submitted online at www.mapleleafdigitallounge.com . The deadline for submission is February 11th, 2011. For further information visit www.mapleleafdigitallounge.com or email deborah@mapleleafdigitallounge.com.
